At the Eastern Warriors presentation night in September this year, Saviour “Sammy” Magro became the club’s 10th Life Membership recipient.

Sam first joined the Eastern Warriors in 2013 and has had a significant on the club and his teammates over the past 12 years. 

His achievements include:

• 115 Warriors club games
• Three times Best & fairest Winner
• Two times Captain
• Captain of the inaugural Eastern Warriors Over 55s team in 2025

Sam is a great character and a huge influence on those who play and train with him. His smooth movement, hard running and high skills make him a standout player and his positive attitude makes hiom a standout bloke.
