Eastern Warriors Pride jumper launch

The Warriors' new jumper launch ahead of Pride Round was a big success - here's the recap.

On Wednesday 24th June, a special training night was held at Eastern Warriors headquarters to launch the Pride jersey.

Special guest coach and passionate Pride advocate Belinda Bowey (currently coach of the Port Melbourne Womens 35s team) took training and made a positive impression putting all Warriors through their paces on some new and creative drills.

After training and with our new pizza sponsor Mulgrave Pizza House delivering plus KJ Solutions providing food for the womens team, the Pride jumper was unveiled. First, there was a Q & A with Warriors Rush team member Helen Tuton (“H”), who designed the Pride jumper. Then Flea unveiled the new jumper, produced by KJ Solutions and to be worn by the womens team during Pride rounds.

Congrats to all who collaborated to make this happen – this is the second new jumper launched this year following the club’s first Indigenous jumper released last month. Thanks again to Belinda for generously donating their time, to H for the design, Kenny for organising and all who helped put on a great night.
