The Mens Over 55s take on Geelong in a Warriors home game at Parkville on Sunday at 12.45pm.
The big news is Seal is in for a comeback game after a years-long battle with life-threatening illness and it is super exciting to see him back in the team. Sammy couldn’t cope and tried to take him out at training last night but barring any mishaps Seal will be on the bench this Sunday.
Players will also be wearing the club’s indigenous-designed jumper for the first time for the Over 55s, in recognition of NAIDOC week this week.
It is a ‘home’ game so wear black shorts and black socks – the jumpers will be brought to the ground. Get there 11.45am for a 12.45pm game – thanks also to Glenn van Dord who will be our goal umpire on Sunday.
